Amy & TJ live very close to me and so it was nice to do a local wedding ceremony and keeping the reception local as well.
The ceremony was held at Heysham Methodist Church and reception back at the Trimpell Club in Morecambe.
We got very lucky with the weather as it kept threatening rain but we got a way with no rain and some blue skies.
First time for me shooting at this church. Great little spot, used as a community hub as well as it has access to all sorts of activities in the building.
Service all went to plan, Amy seemed a little bit nervous to start with, but who wouldn't on your wedding day.
Now TJ seemed to take it all in his stride and enjoyed the moment.
Before heading back to the Reception at The Trimpell Club in Morecambe, we managed to sneak off to a favorite place of mine to take some photos of Amy and TJ and their lovely little boy Theo at Heysham Barrows up on the tops next to the old church ruins of St Patricks Chapel with an amazing views across Morecambe bay.
We were very lucky as there was hardly any wind as that makes shooting a bride up there pretty much impossible.
A bit of help getting Amy up to the Barrows.
Could not resist the shot.
Now as been a multi talented person, ( Smirk Smirk) I also had agreed to do the DJ ing for our married couple, I normally don't do both as I prefer to give all my attention to either to the photography or the DJ side of things but Amy persuaded me to do both on this occasion, Plus I managed to rope my daughter in Law to help with the disco giving me time to grab a few photos of the evening after party.
We had a Mum and bride dance, Dad and bride dance then finally TJ got his chance to dance with his new wife.

As the whole day had been great fun, very relaxed, everyone had a brilliant time.
Even the cake cut went pretty much as I expected lol.
